Betsie Campos Fernandez

Role: Mid-Market Customer Success Manager

Based in: Sydney

Time at Yotpo: 10 months

What’s your favorite eCommerce brand and why?

My favorite eCommerce brand is Go-To Skin Care. They are a fun brand that not only sells fantastic products that work but understands how to communicate with their customer base in a fun, quirky way.

What’s the best professional advice you’ve ever gotten?

Always be your authentic self as that is when you will truly shine!

Meital Tohar Zahav

Role: Product Manager, Subscriptions

Based in: Yokneam, Israel

Time at Yotpo: Almost a year and half

What’s your favorite eCommerce brand and why?

One of my favorite brands is SodaStream — because they are eco-friendly, fun, and I love sparkling water. Another one is a small Israeli store selling online 100% natural cosmetics — good for the environment and us.

What’s the best professional advice you’ve ever gotten?

Being too modest can minimize your achievement. It’s important to be able to celebrate your own and your team’s success (without being arrogant).

Sea Harris

Role: Senior Event Marketing Manager, U.S.

Time at Yotpo: 6 months

Based in: NYC

What’s your favorite eCommerce brand and why?

SSENSE — I love the ability to shop for tons of designer brands in one place and the UX design is so seamless.

What’s the best professional advice you’ve ever gotten?

“If I had asked people what they wanted, they would have said faster horses.” — Henry Ford

Lior Mash

Role: Director of FP&A

Time at Yotpo: 4.5 years

Based in: Tel Aviv

What’s your favorite eCommerce brand and why?

My favorite eCommerce brand is WOW. I have always had a passion for capturing the special moments of life through photography and videography. There’s something truly magical about freezing a moment in time and being able to revisit it whenever you want. That’s why I love taking pictures and videos whenever I can. And when it comes to turning those memories into something tangible, I turn to WOW to design photo books and print pictures. Their platform makes it easy to design any kind of photo book, in any way you want.

What’s the best professional advice you’ve ever gotten?

Take care of yourself. It’s important to take care of yourself both physically and mentally in order to perform at your best in your professional life. Make time for exercise, rest, and relaxation, and don’t be afraid to seek out support when you need it.

Kara Sahota

Role: Partner Manager

Time at Yotpo: Almost 1.5 years

Based in: Sydney

What’s your favorite eCommerce brand and why?

LSKD, an Australian-owned and operated brand, is an absolute winner for me. They keep a fresh catalog of sportswear that motivate you to get moving. They are so good at building community, and creating highly-engaged brand ambassadors out of every shopper. Naturally, I participate in their loyalty program as I shop there frequently and I love that I can earn/redeem regardless of whether I’m shopping on the website, the app, or in-store. And bonus, I love the free gifts when I do a quarterly haul.

What’s the best professional advice you’ve ever gotten?

Being someone who draws so much from the people around me, one piece of advice is tough to narrow down! Here are a few nuggets that have resonated with me over the years:

  1. Leave yourself open to learning, you don’t know what paths it may lead you down — it’s how I landed in eCommerce.
  2. Your mental and physical well-being need to be scheduled into your day, like your other commitments — live and die by the calendar, baby ✊
  3. Become more confident saying no — it’s a work in progress.
