As we gear up to announce our 2025 Amazing Women in eCommerce honorees this March, we’re taking a moment to celebrate the remarkable achievements of our 2024 class. These visionary professionals spent the past year transforming the eCommerce landscape in truly inspiring ways, and their stories deserve the spotlight before we pass the torch.
Making an Impact
We donated over $5,000 to Girls Inc. on behalf of our 2024 honorees, supporting the next generation of women leaders. But we didn’t stop there!
Something extra special happened this year – we hosted our first-ever AWIE Run/Walk event to kick off nominations for 2025. Thanks to this amazing initiative and the incredible participation from our community, we’re thrilled to announce that we’ll be donating more than $10,000 to Girls Inc. in honor of the 2025 class!
Spotlight On Our 2024 Honorees
Founders
Our incredible founder honorees included Elizabeth Krupka (Nomadd Marketing), Carol Shih (Qode Space), Olivia Yuan (Tomorrow), Nikki Tooman (Sticky Digital), Aliyah Marandiz (Sugardoh), Laura Thompson (Clothing The Gaps), and Jess Vassallo (Evocative Media). Fun fact: Aliyah Marandiz founded Sugardoh in 2020 during the height of the pandemic, turning her garage startup into a sensation that’s now stocked in over 1,300 retailers across the US!
Leaders
These powerhouse leaders shaped the future of eComm in 2024: Nargiza Dakmak (Bonafide Health), Ashley Pomeranz (Diff), Kelly Slessor (The Ecommerce Tribe), Hillary Knoll (Shopify), Lauren Herdman (Mejuri), Rose Shattuck (The Foggy Dog), Nicole Smelzer (SLTWTR), and Amy Carr (Thirdlove). Speaking of impact, Nargiza played a key role in Bonafide Health’s acquisition by Pharmavite LLC – one of the biggest deals ever in the women’s health space!
Marketers
Meet our exceptional marketing leaders: Katy Ferguson (Bare Biology), Keeley Scott (MAC Cosmetics), Amanda Rodriguez (IL MAKIAGE), Danielle Tackoor (Avaline), Mary Krause (CQL), Daniela Rouse (Triple Whale), and Julie Chan (Milk Bar). We absolutely loved learning that Keeley landed on the cover of The Wall Street Journal’s Exchange section, highlighting her journey from intern to full-time powerhouse at MAC Cosmetics!
Rising Stars
These rising stars brought fresh perspectives and endless energy: Kristen Micheli (BANDIER), Morgan Mulloy (Avex), Samantha Bessey (Agital), Brianne Latthitham (Shopify Plus), and Charlee Standley (Showpo). And talk about work-life balance – Kristen led BANDIER’s eCommerce strategies while training for two marathons and teaching Pilates!
Innovators
Our innovative leaders pushed boundaries and broke new ground: Anne Moulet (Woolman), Allison Kelly (Digioh), Anya Geimanson (Visually.io), Chloe Paratore (frank body), Kellie Bailey (Brighton), and Chelsea Jones (Chelsea and Rachel). Under Chloe’s leadership at frank body, the brand started with a coffee scrub and grew into a global phenomenon that’s redefining how we talk about beauty.
