Yotpo Launches ‘Amazing Women in Ecommerce’ to Recognize the Visionaries Shaping the Future of Commerce

Inaugural effort raises money for Girls Inc. and calls for the public to nominate more Amazing Women from the industry

In an industry first, Yotpo, a leading provider of commerce marketing solutions, has launched “Amazing Women in eCommerce” (http://www.womeninecomm.com), an initiative to recognize and honor the women who are shaping the eCommerce industry, while raising money for Girls Inc. to empower the next generation of female business leaders.

Yotpo curated the first list of 10 Amazing Women, who are:

“There are a lot of stories about gender and diversity challenges in the tech industry and beyond, but in recent years, we’ve seen eCommerce emerge as a unique platform for bold, game-changing women–at all levels, not just founders,” said Talia Shani, Marketing Director, Yotpo. “We’re launching Amazing Women in eCommerce to drive interest in the sector as fertile ground for female empowerment, to shine a light on the visionary individuals shaping the future of commerce, and to encourage the broader industry to do the same by nominating more Amazing Women.”

Yotpo is opening nominations to the public for 15 more Amazing Women in eCommerce on http://www.womeninecomm.com. For every nomination, Yotpo will make a $5 donation to Girls Inc. in honor of the nominee. Nominations will be accepted through December 31, 2018; new honorees will be announced early 2019. In addition to nominations, the site also hosts interviews with the initial set of honorees, who offer advice for breaking into the industry and future trends in eCommerce.
