The Internet has become social in its nature with the majority of Internet users actively engaging with friends, family and acquaintances on a wide range of social networks. Social is at the core of Yotpo and a major component of the service. In this post I will cover the three main ways that Yotpo helps drive new traffic to our customers stores.

Yotpo makes it easy for your customers to show off your products
The first way that Yotpo helps drive traffic is by prompting reviewers to share their reviews on their social networks. After a reviewer submits their review through the mail-after-purchase email or directly from the Yotpo widget, they are prompted to share their review to their social networks. The link which is submitted will redirect visitors back to the product page of the product that got the review.

Use customer reviews to drive traffic from your social communities
The most powerful way that Yotpo helps store owners receive a boost in social traffic (and sales) is by allowing them to connect their Facebook page and Twitter account to Yotpo and share reviews with their social communities. The process is very easy and has been recently added into the install process of Yotpo so that everything is ready the minute reviews start coming in.
Yotpo customers who have connected their social accounts to Yotpo have the option of having every review submitted automatically to their social networks or they can submit specific reviews manually. Most customers opt for the manual option as this gives them more control.
We are currently working on a smart sharing option so that our customers communities aren’t spammed if they have the automatic sharing option enabled and many reviews come in at once.

Display all your reviews in one place on your Facebook page
A more recent feature which helps drive traffic and sales for our customers is the Testimonials feature. One of the cool extensions to the regular Testimonials feature is the ability to connect your Facebook page to Yotpo and display all your product and site reviews within a tab on your Facebook page. This tab really stands out and displays all your product and site reviews right in Facebook. Fans that like a specific review can click on it and be taken directly to the product page of the product that received the review.
