We’re thrilled to introduce our new syndication partnership with Walmart.com, enabling brands to build credibility and drive more sales with a massive new audience.

Earlier this week, Walmart announced that Shopify merchants would now have an easy-access channel to sell their products on Walmart Marketplace.

Brands that apply and are approved can connect their Shopify store to their Walmart Seller Account, enabling them to quickly and easily sync their product catalog and create product listings on Walmart Marketplace. By the end of this year, 1,200 Shopify merchants are expected to seamlessly sell through Walmart Marketplace via this new partnership. To say that this is a huge opportunity for brands is an understatement. In their recent earnings report, Walmart reported a 74% increase in the eCommerce business, with their eCommerce predominantly fueling that growth. A combined study by USPS and comScore also found that 97% of online shoppers first browsed products on a marketplace before making an end purchase, and many merchants reported an increase in traffic back to their site once listed on the Marketplace.

Brands are now not only able to sell to the 120 million shoppers that frequent the Marketplace each month, but they also have the potential to create relationships with new shoppers and build long-term customer loyalty.

Coming Soon to Yotpo: Reviews Syndication on Walmart.com

With that, we are excited to announce our syndication partnership with Walmart.com. This powerful partnership will enable brands to use Yotpo to syndicate product reviews and visual UGC to Walmart.com, regardless of their eCommerce platform.

By syndicating those hard-earned reviews to Walmart.com, brands will be able to:
