Senior Manager, Agency Managed Services

As the Senior Manager of Agency Managed Services, you’ll be leading one of Yotpo's fastest growing and most promising new channels within Yotpo’s dynamic partner ecosystem. In this role, you will have a chance to build a global and highly strategic program from the ground up, collaborate closely with Yotpo’s leadership team and have a meaningful impact on Yotpo’s explosive growth. 

The Managed Services program onboards and empowers agency partners to create new SMS Marketing service offerings by enabling them to develop, manage and optimize SMS marketing campaigns for eCommerce brands.  

To support the incredible growth of mobile communication channels by our merchants, Yotpo acquired the leading SMS marketing provider SMSBump early in 2020, and are now serving thousands of leading brands with SMS marketing services.  This addition has fast become a key compliment to Yotpo’s Customer Loyalty and Reviews offerings, supporting a set of easy to use, yet highly integrated marketing capabilities for merchants.  From enhanced review collection, to high performing, targeted SMS campaigns, to increased loyalty program engagement, SMS marketing delivers the highest levels of ROI for a brands marketing efforts. 

This passionate person will take the program from a handful of key partners who are already successfully driving customer growth and turn it into a world-class Managed Services Program, supporting and driving value for partner agencies and shared customers around the world with Yotpo’s suite of tools.

You will: 

  • Create a scalable program infrastructure to onboard, manage and support global agency partners with SMS focused go-to-market strategies that will increase customer acquisition, drive SMS usage and maximize ROI for mutual customers 
  • Own and exceed revenue targets for MoM SMS usage revenue and bookings under agency management while growing the program by finding, qualifying and adding new partners to the portfolio. 
  • Build and cultivate relationships within all levels of agency organizations (specifically sales, account managers, client services, and executive management) to become their trusted consultant and set strategy, troubleshoot support, sharing best practices and proactively help them grow their agencies.
  • Create ongoing agency enablement initiatives (for ex: certifications programs) to establish and maintain high levels of product and campaign management knowledge for our Managed Service Partners. 
  • Provide growth mapping, goal setting, and conduct QBRs with Managed Service Partners by analyzing merchant usage to form forecasts, having complete visibility into renewal pipeline while identifying and proactively solving any churn risks throughout the customer lifecycle.
  • Establish yourself as an SMS thought leader in the partner ecosystem, proactively seek opportunities to co-market with program partners and attend/present at community events 
  • Partner with internal stakeholders (Marketing, Sales, CS, Channel etc) to share insights and learnings on all things related to SMS Marketing and ensure we’re generating the needed value from the managed services partner to each Yotpo organization

About you: 

  • 5+ years of channel sales or agency sales experience in client-facing role with a proven track record of hitting revenue  targets
  • Prior experience with a marketing agency or MarTech SaaS company 
  • Business acumen - you know how businesses work, knowledgeable in current/future practices, trends, technology, etc.
  • Strategic agility- you see ahead, anticipate relationship and decision-making dynamics, naturally adapt to situations etc 
  • First class presentation, communication and listening skills 
  • Natural collaborator and team player:  you find common ground/solve problems for the good of all 
  • Demonstrated ability to build and own delivery of projects A-Z
  • Working knowledge and experience in the Marketing Automation space highly preferred
  • Highly collaborative and excels in a complex, matrixed environment
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Degree or relevant work experience required
