Role & Responsibilities:
The eCommerce Manager is responsible for sales & marketing on eCommerce Marketplaces and Shopify for Suja Life Brands including Suja Organic, Vive Organic, and Slice. This role will oversee marketing, operations, financial, and sales activities for Direct-to-Consumer platforms and Marketplace Customers (Amazon Seller Central, Walmart Marketplace, TikTok Seller Central, Meta Marketplace and others). This role partners with internal and external stakeholders to drive sales growth, maintain operational excellence, improve customer acquisition, execute retention growth strategies, and increase average order value. This should be achieved by implementing data-driven strategies and improvements in customer experience. This role will lead critical partnerships with operations, finance, and marketing teams to elevate the entire DTC and Marketplaces eCommerce business. This role is tactical in nature.
- Oversee the end-to-end DTC sales process, from product presentation to checkout and post-purchase experience.
- Manage product listings, pricing, and inventory levels across multiple platforms while adhering to each marketplace’s best practices.
- Implement pricing, promotion, and discount strategies to maximize revenue while maintaining profitability goals.
- Utilize web analytics tools (including Amplitude) and create reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as traffic, conversion rates, cart abandonment and average order value.
- Generate regular reports and insights, translating data into actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Ensure seamless order fulfillment and timely delivery by collaborating with operations, consumer relations and 3PL partners.
- Optimize and manage integrations to ensure order processing and fulfillment.
- Monitor inventory levels, replenishment processes, and stock allocation to maintain product availability and prevent stockouts.
- Manage inventory forecasting with operations to optimize inventory turnover, reduce expiring inventory, maintain stock levels and minimize carrying costs.
- Partner with customer service team to problem solve order processing issues and troubleshooting any website user issues.
- Ensure a seamless and user-friendly online shopping experience, addressing customer pain points and optimizing website navigation.
- Set up, manage, and execute all products and functions related to Shopify Plus Storefront, Amazon, Walmart Marketplace, and other Marketplaces.
- Leverage Shopify, Amazon Seller Central and other Marketplaces data to grow sales, optimize online product assortment, inform pricing content, inform media strategy, and drive new product innovation
- Lead tactics to grow subscription across Direct-to-Consumer platforms while reducing churn, increasing lifetime value and improving incentives to scale program retention and meet business objectives
- Lead Amazon media strategy and performance goals, be a key stakeholder in media strategies for DTC and other marketplaces
- Use of all necessary tools, software plug-ins and outside platforms (e.g. Bazaarvoice, Stay Ai, Marketplace Connect, Klaviyo, and others) to increase sales of our Shopify store and priority growth initiatives
- Lead P&L ownership, budget management, sales forecast planning and input, and eCommerce reporting dashboards
- Responsible for weekly and end-of-month reporting to ensure forecast attainment, inventory planning, and constantly providing improvements based on ROI
- Support in-store and omnichannel sales and marketing channels, including maintaining and updating Destini store locator platform and in-store product listings for all brands on Shopify
- Lead strategy and execution of landing page development to support marketing efforts for all brands
- Ownership of ecommerce budget across finance platforms and marketing team management documents
- Development and maintenance of sales forecasts by SKU by brand and sales channel and communication/sharing of forecasts with sales finance
- Main point of contact and lead for all marketplace agencies and internal stakeholders, including Amazon media, SEO, website development, email & SMS, and others
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree is a plus
- Minimum 3-5 years e-commerce experience required with a Consumer/CPG Brand
- Minimum 1-3 years of Management experience required
- Have a strong track record as an exceptional team player with business and brand agility, always ‘finding a better way’ to leapfrog marke
- CPG experience preferably in food/beverage space. Experience in both large company and entrepreneurial environment a plus
- A strong interest in understanding and driving online user behavior
- Complete understanding and execution of ShopifyPlus and Amazon Seller Central, including store setup, automation, inventory management, product listings, email automation and targeted digital marketing
- Excellent analytical skills – the ability to pull large amounts of raw data, translate into clear outputs, extrapolate clear learnings, and apply these learnings to the business
- Strong understanding of ecommerce data sources, including Google Analytics, ShopifyPlus, Hotjar/Microsoft Clarity, and Amazon Seller Central – and the ability to proactively and quickly learn new platforms
- Savvy e-commerce specialist with the ability to think independently and execute proactively
