Role & Responsibilities:

(MALIN+GOETZ) is looking for an Email Marketing + CRM Manager to join our Digital + E-commerce team. You will create, implement, analyze, and report on new email strategies (segments, workflows, A/B test) to improve business KPIs. You will also partner with the Creative team, the Marketing team, and the local market ecommerce teams.   • Design, execute and report on email and SMS campaigns to drive existing customer retention, motivate customer migration through other categories, higher spend tiers, as well as re-engagement of lapsed customers and soon to be lapsed customers.
  • Use our email provider, Klaviyo, to test + schedule all emails + SMS.
  • Work with copywriter, designer, and marketing team to produce new email campaigns based on the global marketing calendar + evergreen content needs.
  • Build omni-channel CRM marketing cadence, share of voice and lifecycle journey by customer segment through campaigns and automated flows/triggered emails.
  • Determine and implement testing strategies for all aspects of email marketing to ensure the most effective approach.
  • Leverage data and create automated campaigns based on customer insights and drive personalized and timely experiences, increasing lifetime value (LTV).
  • Build email marketing cadence by customer segment.

  • In conjunction with the Director of Global Digital Marketing, will own strategy + day-to-day execution.
  • Partner with digital + retail teams to develop effective integrated cross-channel campaigns.
  • Manage + expand our existing tiered spend-based omnichannel (+)points loyalty program, including all loyalty program customer communications + reporting.
  • Manage customer data and business intelligence queries on product and campaign results.
  • Ensure email/SMS regulations (GDPR, CCPA, TCPA, CASL) and deliverability best practices.

Qualifications:

Experience/Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 4+ years of experience working in email marketing, CRM and retention.
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and executing email campaigns with superior ROI.
  • Experience in a premium/luxury e-commerce environment for beauty or lifestyle brands is preferred.
  • Experience with Klaviyo (or similar email scheduling tool) + Yotpo (or similar loyalty/reviews tool) is preferred.

Language Ability: Read, analyze and interpret business, professional, technical or governmental documents. Write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, customers and the public.

Reasoning Ability: Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills:

  • MS Office
  • Excel, including advanced functions.
