Role & Responsibilities:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to join our dynamic marketing team. In this role, you will support the planning, execution, and optimization of marketing campaigns across two channels (email and SMS), with the goal of driving brand awareness / brand love through to brand loyalty, while driving subscriber engagement and retention.
- Campaign calendar: Develop a monthly campaign calendar in line with the new CRM strategy and in partnership with the Director, Lifecycle Marketing
- Audience targeting: A passion to ensure that campaigns are targeted (rather than broad audience sends) through creative data-informed segmentation decisions that ensure campaigns are relevant to the inbox recipient
- Audience targeting: Ability to analyze data and understand our customer profiles and journey to then create data-informed segments for more relevant and engaging campaigns
- Campaign briefing: Develop and submit easy-to-follow briefs to the Creative Team, always reflecting our brand pillars while meeting women we’re they’re at through a customer-first lens
- Campaign execution: Build campaigns and sends in our channel platforms
- Performance monitoring: Track and report on campaign performance metrics (e.g., reach, engagement, conversion) and provide insights for optimization.
- Balance campaigns across priorities: building brand love and loyalty, boosting engagement, and driving product trial and cart building, conversion, and spend
- A/B Testing: Suggest and execute on A/B tests to optimize campaign performance, including variations of email subject lines, ad creatives, and landing pages.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Experience: 2-3 years of experience in digital marketing, advertising, or a similar role (internships or co-op experience considered).
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with marketing tools such as Google Analytics, CRM platforms, email marketing tools (e.g. Klaviyo), SMS marketing tools (e.g. Attentive), and creative design softwares (e.g. Canva)
- Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; comfortable working with data to make quick data-informed decisions, pivots, and improvements.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Creativity: A creative thinker with the ability to contribute new ideas to marketing campaigns.
- Attention to Detail: High attention to detail in all aspects of campaign planning and execution.
