Role & Responsibilities
We are seeking an E-Commerce Manager to manage and optimize our online sales and support outstanding customer experience. This role requires a data-driven mindset and a deep understanding of e-commerce best practices. You will work closely with product, customer success, and marketing teams to ensure that our e-commerce platform delivers an outstanding shopping experience, aligning with our brand values. This is an individual contributor position reporting to Executive Director – Head of Business, Kohler Ventures.
- Define and execute a leading e-commerce, digital first sales strategy
- Execute on the e-commerce strategy to achieve sales targets and growth objectives
- Manage the day-to-day operations of our online store, including product listings and inventory management.
- Optimize the user experience (UX) on our website to improve conversion rates, customer retention, and overall satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal partners and external agencies to implement digital marketing campaigns.
- Analyze website performance metrics, sales data, and customer feedback to identify improvement opportunities and make data-driven recommendations.
- Monitor the integration of e-commerce platforms and third-party tools (payments gateways) and escalate any performance concerns to the software team
- Coordinate with stakeholders in operations to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment of orders.
- Stay current with e-commerce trends, technologies, and best practices to continually improve the online shopping experience.
- Develop and manage the e-commerce budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
- Reports to Commercial & Growth Lead, Kohler Ventures
- Works closely with other members of the Kohler Ventures Commercial and dev teams and select external agencies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, E-commerce, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in e-commerce management, preferably in the wellness and tech industries
- Proven track record of driving online sales growth and improving e-commerce KPIs
- Strong knowledge of e-commerce platforms and digital marketing strategies
- Experience with web analytics tools
- Demonstrated project management skills
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven approach to decision-making
- Previous experience working in a wellness or tech startup is a plus
- Experience with UX/UI principles and website design is a plus
- Positive, can-do attitude with a strong sense of ownership and ability to drive work forward
- Travel requirement: ~10%

The approved base salary range for this position is $101,600 – $128,300. The actual base salary offered to a candidate may be higher than the approved range. This will vary depending on a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. This position is subject to Area Salary Differential (Cost of Living Adjustment) that ranges from 16% of base salary for the NYC metro area. The approved base salary range including ASD for this position is $117,856 – $148,828 depending on location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus and a special project incentive. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision and 401k.
