Role & Responsibilities:

We are seeking a full-time Retention Marketing Specialist to join our growing company and spearhead our email and SMS marketing strategies here at Just Ingredients. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing end-to-end email and SMS marketing campaigns. This includes managing email and SMS databases, crafting engaging emails and texts, and leveraging technology to drive sales growth. These efforts may also play a key part in shaping our loyalty and retention strategies, ensuring long-term customer engagement and brand loyalty.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute email marketing campaigns to engage and retain customers, including segmentation, scheduling, and content creation.
  • Implement and optimize automated email campaigns, including A/B testing.
  • Familiarity with Klaviyo is a must. Bonus if you are familiar with Yotpo SMS
  • Manage the creation, testing, and optimization of email templates, subject lines, and messaging to improve open rates, click-through rates, and conversions.
  • Build and maintain subscriber lists, ensuring compliance with GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and other relevant regulations.
  • Analyze email marketing performance metrics and KPIs to track campaign effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement A/B testing strategies to optimize email content, layout, and delivery times.
  • Collaborate with the design and content teams to create compelling visual and written content for emails and text messages.
  • Monitor and manage text message marketing campaigns, ensuring adherence to TCPA regulations and best practices.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in email and text message marketing.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including product, sales, and customer support, to align email and text messaging strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Continuously optimize email and text marketing strategies based on data-driven insights and customer feedback.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or work equivalent in Marketing, Communications, Health & Wellness, or related field.
  • 3-4 years of experience in email marketing
  • Proficiency in email marketing platforms (preferably Klaviyo) and SMS marketing platform
  • Bonus: knowledge of HTML/CSS for template customization, but not needed
  • Strong understanding of email and text marketing best practices and regulation
  • Experience creating and implementing campaigns, analyzing performance metrics, and optimizing strategies
  • Excellent written communication skill
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Understanding of audience segmentation and targeting technique
  • Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies and CRM systems integratio
  • Analytical skills to interpret campaign data and derive actionable insights
  • Strong project management skills and an ability to work under tight deadlines.
