Pura Vida Bracelets was founded in 2010 when co-founders Griffin Thall and Paul Goodman were on vacation in Costa Rica. After meeting local artisans selling handmade bracelets, they saw an opportunity to start a business that would give back to communities both in Costa Rica and the U.S.

Within a few years, the co-founders went from selling 100 bracelets out of their suitcases to managing a multi-million dollar business. Their innovative marketing strategies and charity-minded business plan even earned the founders a spot on Forbes’ 2014 30 Under 30 List.

“We knew our customers loved us and we wanted a way for them to share that love,” said Griffin. “However, getting a significant amount of buyers to write reviews proved challenging.” Pura Vida wanted a way to generate a large volume of reviews and easily use these reviews in their marketing. They had tried out a few other review solutions, but Griffin explained, “We weren’t getting the results we needed, and we certainly weren’t seeing an increase in traffic and sales from reviews.”
