As a Cloud Security Engineer you will have the opportunity to lead the protection, guidance, designing, automation and support of Yotpo’s cloud infrastructure security.
You will also contribute to other security domains and initiatives such as Incident Response, Security Monitoring and Risk Management.
Close partnership with RnD, DevOps, IT and other groups to protect Yotpo’s highly scalable backend and our massive data processing pipeline.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the RnD and DevOps team to provide security expertise on cloud security
- Manage and provide guidance on Identity, Access, Secrets and patch management
- Monitor, identify and fix security and network related issues
- Automate processes
- Document procedures and protocols
- Test and implement the coolest new tools and technologies
- Train, educate the Yotpo Technology teams
- Respond to security incidents and investigations
- Evaluate security events and alerts within the cloud protection platform
- Recommend security controls to protect workloads within the cloud while maintaining deployment agility
- Contribute to the security champions program for material related cloud infrastructure security
- Recommend security controls to protect workloads within the cloud
Requirements
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with cloud security
- Hands-on experience in at least one major public cloud platform, preferably AWS
- Experience working with development teams
- Experience with Python/Powershell/Bash scripting and automation
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Experienced with enterprise-level networks including basic protocols, routing, and switching
- High level of problem-solving skills and debugging of high-complexity systems
- Good presentation skills: Ability to articulate technically advanced issues to all audiences; Ability to mentor and train internal staff.
- Excellent English skills
