Role Description

The eCommerce world is constantly adapting and it's hard for brands to know what works best for their customers. A key success factor is the brand’s ability to understand its shopper base and to take the right actions for the right audience at the right time.

As the Data Product Manager you will be working closely with our powerful CDP team to create a unified data layer that helps Yotpo provide merchants with a seamless experience driven by cross-product data. You will also work closely with our powerful Data Science team in identifying AI powered solutions that help our merchants unlock the value of their data and optimize relationships with their customers. Our in-house AI capabilities are manifested throughout our applications and jumpstart valuable use cases for the merchant, including: customer segmentation, flow triggering, automatic insights and recommendations.

Our data science capabilities cross multiple domains including: NLP, predictive analytics, visual analytics, neural networks and more.

In this role you will meet the enormous scale and high expectations of our customers, and have an immediate measurable impact on the company’s business performance. It will require building strong relationships across all levels of the organizations and business areas.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a strong understanding of the market, competition, ecosystem customers, and our commercial strategy
  • Work closely with the different product lines to identify new opportunities for utilizing data and AI 
  • Lead a scrum of top developers, data scientists and engineers to realize the product plans you set 
  • Create and manage KPIs, roadmaps, project plans, and product specifications
  • Own discovery process for new AI powered features

Qualifications

  • 2+ years hands-on product management experience 
  • BA/BS in computer science or equivalent relevant experience
  • Strong technical background  (engineering, computer science, mathematics, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of all aspects of the product development lifecycle, including product strategy development, definition of requirements, engineering, QA, and release
  • Strong analytical skills and proven ability to make good product decisions based on data
  • Exceptional communication skills and proficiency in English
  • Previous experience with Big Data, machine learning, and algorithmsa major advantage
  • Previous experience working with data science teams – a major advantage
  • Experience in large scale SAAS – a major advantage
  • Customer oriented mindset and Solid UX instincts – an advantage
