In our sixth year of running the Amazing Women in eCommerce program, we’re thrilled to introduce you to the Yotpo team driving this initiative forward.

Talia Shani
Director of Marketing UK & AU

What is your role in Amazing Women in eCommerce?
Founder!

What does the Amazing Women in eCommerce community mean to you?
It means meeting the most incredible group of talented women who are happy to share and help others. I never stop being amazed by the things the woman in our community do; from getting an MBA while working full-time as a Director and mom to devoting precious free time to mentor young women — it’s a group of the most talented, generous, and intelligent women!

AWIE Program Director

What does the Amazing Women in eCommerce community mean to you?
It’s the most fulfilling part of my role at Yotpo; meeting, learning from, and being inspired by women from across the industry, as well as having a meaningful community to source ideas, advice, and just a general network to lean on. Throughout the years, I have met so many incredible women both online and offline at some of our events across the globe, gotten to work closely with our partners at Girls Inc., and truly feel and see the impact that this program has.

Shiri Schnur
VP Brand & Design

What is your role in Amazing Women in eCommerce?
I am the Design Lead for Amazing Women in eCommerce.

What does the Amazing Women in eCommerce community mean to you?
For me, Amazing Women in eCommerce is a place for all the strong women, operating in a very male-dominated space, to stand out. This community helps to highlight their work and emphasize the achievements of these women who are outstanding and excelling on all levels. They serve as role models for other women in the industry (and outside of it) encouraging others not to give up, to create space for yourself, and to find fulfillment in yourself as a person, as a woman, and in the workplace.

Evgeniya Rashbam
Director of Events

What is your role in Amazing Women in eCommerce?
I spearhead all the events that we run for Amazing Women in eCommerce — online and offline.

What does the Amazing Women in eCommerce community mean to you?
Since its launch, Amazing Women in eCommerce has been a very special project to me and all of us at Yotpo. I remember the first AWIE breakfast we organized at the IRCE conference in 2019, which sold out in less than a week. The atmosphere at the event was very warm and it was so emotional to see everyone smiling and networking right away — with no facilitation needed. Many of them came to meet us at the conference expo later that day to say thank you and everyone was wearing the AWIE scarves they had gotten at the breakfast. We haven’t seen a response like that to any event we’ve hosted before and it felt right to continue putting these events together to help Amazing Women of our industry connect, share their experiences, and learn from on another.

What is your role in Amazing Women in eCommerce?
I lead content strategy and do most of the writing for the site, events, and anything else we need.

What does the Amazing Women in eCommerce community mean to you?
AWIE is one of my favorite parts of my job at Yotpo. The community is so enthusiastic, supportive, and inspiring, and I’ve had the chance to, not only meet some of the most amazing women in the industry, but also highlight them and share their insights with brands and people across the eCommerce ecosystem.

Liz Stack
Brand and Community Manager

What is your role in Amazing Women in eCommerce?
I work on the strategy and programming behind AWIE. I’m constantly thinking about what we should do next, which amazing women we should feature, and how we can keep our approach fresh. I champion the program internally and externally, making sure what we do is impactful and that we market it intelligently. My goal is for as many people to know and love AWIE as humanly possible :)

What does the Amazing Women in eCommerce community mean to you?
This community is a place to channel my creativity, have interesting conversations, and expose myself to fresh perspectives. Focusing on the intelligence and strength of other women in this industry as part of my job is so inspiring. It fuels me to be more creative at this job and to take on more challenges inside & outside of work.

I’m so grateful to the women here at Yotpo who built this community from the ground up and honored to be part of the team now!

What does the Amazing Women in eCommerce community mean to you?
I love the community and to see it grow and to know I have a big part of it and how it looks inside and also outside — in what people are seeing when they see things related to the AWIE community.

Savina Sarbova
Community Engagement Manager

What is your role in Amazing Women in eCommerce?
As part of the Community team, I’m responsible for nurturing the AWIE Slack Community. I also manage the AWIE newsletter and Instagram account.

What does the Amazing Women in eCommerce community mean to you?
You can easily get lost in the day-to-day tasks of managing a Community — from small appreciation messages, follow-ups, and searching for news and updates, to content planning and reporting. But I often get this warm feeling of belonging, and it’s truly inspiring to witness women across different industries accomplish so much. AWIE Honorees and Community members are the best storytellers, and I can’t stress enough how important is to amplify their voices.

Carmel Zein
Senior Marketing Manager

What is your role in Amazing Women in eCommerce?
Aussie AWIE ambassador!

What does the Amazing Women in eCommerce community mean to you?
AWIE has become an institution in ANZ. The community is so important to me and our industry because it provides a space to celebrate the success of incredible women doing amazing things, to learn from one another and to foster a community that is inclusive which is truly the paving the way to a more diverse industry for everyone. The more we can elevate women and anyone belonging to a minority group, the closer we are to achieving true equality.

Thais Renzi Bragheroli
Senior Marketing Manager, UK

What is your role in Amazing Women in eCommerce?
I support all UK AWIE initiatives

What does the Amazing Women in eCommerce community mean to you?
I saw AWiE grow over the years and, although I knew it was super strong online, it was only when we organized a live event in London that I understood the full extent of this community. I spoke with several women who told me they were waiting for an initiative like this, that it was so important to connect with fellow eCommerce professionals in the UK, and how happy they were to be together. I’m so proud and honored to be one of the people responsible for making AWIE a reality in the UK, and for helping thousands of women grow professionally by creating opportunities to connect.

Faye Oakenfull
Partner Marketing Manager

What is your role in Amazing Women in eCommerce?
I run any EMEA AWIE events

What does the Amazing Women in eCommerce community mean to you?
It has been a huge source of inspiration for me, to see so many women carving out incredible careers in historically a male-dominated industry. Both the offline and online community has enabled me to meet many like-minded women, both locally and across the world. I love seeing women celebrate each other and feel confident and comfortable to shout about their achievements (we love a bit of self promo!). Hosting our AWIE London event was such a career highlight for me, seeing so many women (many who had come alone) networking with their peers, listening to our incredible speakers and not wanting to go home at the end, it was just lovely.

Kalah Siegel
Co-Marketing Manager

What is your role in Amazing Women in eCommerce?
I support ecosystem partner involvement with AWIE.

What does the Amazing Women in eCommerce community mean to you?
The AWIE community is so important to me as a woman in tech. It’s inspiring and motivating to celebrate fellow women who are unapologetically influencing the fabric of eCommerce and leaving their mark. I love that AWIE is a true community rooted in positivity and friendship, where we’re ecstatic to see other women succeed and flourish.
